Collin College offers high-quality child care through the Child Development Lab School at the Plano Campus. The Lab School also serves as a hands-on learning environment for the following programs and courses: Child Development, Early Childhood Education, academic courses in the Social Sciences, and Service Learning.

How to Enroll
Children ages 3 months to 5 years may be enrolled in the Child Development Lab School, as space permits. Enrollment is available to Collin College faculty, staff, and students. To qualify, students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters and 3 credit hours during the summer semester.
The children’s program promotes physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development in a nurturing and supportive environment, with daily activities based on each child’s individual needs and interests.
The Child Development Lab School is National Association for the Education of Young Children accredited and a Four-Star Texas Rising Star Program. The Lab School is open year-round, follows the Collin College academic calendar, and operates Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
