Collin College's Book-in-Common welcomes 'Stay True' author Hua Hsu

Collin College’s Book-In-Common is celebrating its 20th anniversary with two events featuring “Stay True” author Hua Hsu. Hsu will speak March 4-5 at Collin College’s McKinney and Frisco campuses, and both student events are free and open to the public.

Hsu will discuss his book during a fireside chat at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, in Collin College’s McKinney Campus Conference Center, located at 2400 Community Ave., in McKinney. He will return to Collin College for a second fireside chat at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, in the Frisco Campus Conference Center located at 9700 Wade Blvd., in Frisco. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Hsu for book signings at both events.

“Stay True” is a coming-of-age story about college life, friendship, music, self-identity, grief, race, 90s pop culture, philosophies of life, and technology. The Pulitzer Prize-winning memoir is available for checkout at the Collin College Library as an eBook or audiobook.
The Book-In-Common lecture series is the culmination of a yearlong program in which students throughout the college and community members are encouraged to read the same book and discuss its themes. For more information, visit www.collin.edu/events/.
