The BAS in Clinical Operations Management (BASCCOM) requires completing 120 semester credit hours (SCH) of coursework as outlined below. 

 

Technical Coursework - 44 credit hours

As part of the Clinical Operations Management (BASCOM) program, you’ll need to complete up to 44 semester credit hours of technical (workforce education) coursework that will count toward your Bachelor Applied Science degree. These credits typically come from your AAS degree.

 

If your AAS degree includes fewer than 44 semester credit hours of technical coursework, don't worry! Any remaining credits needed to meet the BAS degree requirements can be completed as electives. You can choose from approved lower-division courses that haven’t already been used to satisfy another requirement for your bachelor’s degree.

 

Core Curriculum/General Education Coursework - 42 credit hours

All students completing a baccalaureate degree, including the BAS in Clinical Operations Management, must complete 42 SCH of core curriculum/general education courses as Collin College requires.  Core curriculum/general education courses may be completed at Collin College or transferred from another institutionally accredited institution of higher education, and many of these required courses may be applied toward the BAS degree requirements from general education/core curriculum courses completed as part of the AAS degree.
